Source, acquisition time, footprint, sensor, resolution and analytical limitations remain associated with each observation and case workflow.
Capability boundary
Satellite observations can support detection of large vessels, extensive environmental change and major infrastructure conditions. They do not automatically identify people, licence plates, individual containers, small vehicles or specific assets. Detection capability depends on sensor, acquisition mode, spatial resolution, temporal availability and conditions of observation.
Imagery display, attribution and downstream use remain subject to the applicable source terms. LOVHEN separates global catalogue observations from tenant-scoped evidence promoted through an authorised case workflow.
